Current Member Snapshot
Overview
Located at the northern end of the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia the Rotary Club of Hope Island is part of Rotary District 9640 , an area that covers parts of South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. The area is famous for its three championship golf courses and close proximity to both beaches and theme parks. Our community includes a mix of retirees and young professional families and is home to around 15,000 residents.
Work on the establishment of a Rotary Club in Hope Island commenced in 2002 and, with the guidance of Past District Governor, Ian Yarker, and the hard work of a range of people including our Charter President, Keith Wilson and Warren Fowler from our sponsoring club, Runaway Bay, our club was officially chartered on 26 February 2003.
Rotary Hope Island members are a mix of men and women ranging in age from mid 20’s right up to something a bit more than that…. Regardless of who you are we like to think we have something to offer for everyone!
